In addressing the issue, the technician could act as minor as adjusting one or more values or preferences, but could also apply more involved techniques like installing, uninstalling or reinstalling various software packages. A reliable, but a little more complicated, the procedure for dealing with software issues is known as a restoration, in which the image of the original installation team (including the operating system and original applications) is reapplied to a formatted hard disk. You need to know, however, that anything unique, like personal settings or files will be destroyed if no backup on external media, and that everything returns to its original condition, unused.
